Cabin/facility safety

*July 12, 2024: Category 1 fireban is in effect.

*No campfires are  allowed at Camp Emile during Category 1 Fireban*

Campfires are one of the favourite things to do while camping.  Here are some  tips that will keep you safe:

*Keep your campfire small and under control (0.5 metres by 0.5 metres)

*Never leave your campfire unattended

*Always supervise children and your dog when they are near the campfire

*Let the wood burn to ash. If not possible, douse the campfire with water making sure there are no burning embers before leaving it.
